Often living in the cities one doesn't get a chance to just sit outside for prolonged periods of time and watch creatures interact, observe a full glorious moon rise, catch sight of fireflies in the distance or be entertained by hummingbirds competing for a particular feeder. At our cottage I've even witnessed a black bear stumble onto our small beach. Life can be a show, in all its forms, and it's up north that I often find myself injected one again with the realisation of how spectacular life is and how much goes on outside of human life.
About Me
- Sarah Hynek
- I am a Canadian currently living in Scotland. I moved to the UK initially to pursue graduate work at the University of Oxford and am now a PhD student based in Scotland. Over the past few years I've lived in England, Scotland and Egypt, and continue visiting Canada frequently. This is really just a diary of photographs highlighting some of the places I've visited since moving to the UK. Photography allows me to savour my surroundings and reflect on my experiences more vividly. If you have any questions please send me an email: sarah.hynek@gmail.com

Cottaging in Muskoka
